Carius
Hi folks, This project includes de kit LRDG Chevrolet 30CWT Truck, Tamiya code 35092, 1/35. This old Tamiya kit is rejected at first sight, since many modelers prefer MBT´s. But I like the trucks, but in particular this model because their lines of 1930 and their curious camouflage schemes. The kit was detailed.with Eduard PE 35251, tires from DToys 35-012, and lots of plastic and resin accessories. PHOTOS - ASSEMBLY LINE TO THE FINISH MODEL (EXCUSE ME IS A LONG TOPIC) : THE STUFFS: PAINTING: WEATHERING AND DETAILING: TO THE END: SORRY! SORRY! MANY PHOTOS!!!!!!!!!! dubster72
Excellent build & it's good to see lots of pictures! I don't understand why so many people reject the Chev, it was used extensively by the LRDG & you've created a marvellous example there. Cheers Patrick
HL-10
Cracking looking model! Beautifully done and a masterful weathering job! I like the "Shell" emblems on the flimsies. One observation. The LRDG did not use the No4 Lee Enfield, only the SMLE version.
Natter
I'm not sure about 'rejected' as these go for silly high prices on evilbay, so it's nice to see one built - and to such a high standard.
HL-10
The kit is still available: http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/TA89785 and Tamiya have re-released it with Master Box's LRDG figure set which makes for a lovely combination: http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/TA32407

fredben
Well Carius this subject is brilliant. Just my kind of subject. Very good weathering and looks like it's been in the desert a few years. I was looking at a kit the same as this on Amazon. You have made my mind up to get one. Like the pictures also. well done.
