JeffreyK
Hello Phantom Phans (sorry...), the masters for the resin parts of my upcoming F-4 canopy inserts have just been finished (looking at the pictures, they need a dusting though): The top one is for Academy, the bottom one for Hasegawa kits. Please ignore those spreader bars at the front - they will go once the parts are nested in their casting blocks. Getting this right will be a challenge, but hopefully my plan works out. There will be a PE set to go with them, a first draft of which has been sent to the etch company for making test pieces. Next up on the bench will be the A3D wheel well set for the Trumpeter kit. Ken Stenzenko
They look really nice! Should improve the inside of the canopies 10 fold. It's an area that I always think lets down a good model when there's no detail on the inside of the canopies. Any idea as to what we will be looking at to purchase a set? mungo1974
Also please relook at doing F-4 wheel wells for the Academy kit Aires as usual look nice in the packet but fit is poor and they don't even supply location holes for the U/C legs. Leaving this for the modeller to drill out after sanding the bay wafer thin to fit.
