Iain Ogilvie
Here ya go - calling it done - but funnily enough I had a gear leg shear part way through photo's - and quickly fixed - ho hum! Comment/abuse/banter all gratefully received! Right - off to tinker with something else... Iain

Dave A
Lovely job! That mottling's mind-boggling! Interesting planes these late-war German props - futuristic and backward-looking at the same time, with the jet age arriving...

Iain Ogilvie
Thanks guys - comments really appreciated! For those that haven't seen the build thread - the model took quite a while to 'correct' some of the shapes in the Revell kit - nacelles (size and angle), rear fuselage (cross section and glazing), tail fins (cross section re-profiled at base) and nose/windshield which was reshaped to get it a little closer to the original. Also used Barracuda open cowl flaps, Eduard belts and Eduard Brassin wheels. This show's some of the extent of the work (yellow areas are Halfords filler primer):Once I'd completed the airframe I thought it would all be down hill from there - wrong - doing that scheme took several days and it felt like my eyes were bleeding towards the end!Iain
galgos
That's a beautifully done Uhu, very precise camo, antennae etc., but well done too for photos that do credit to your careful work. Good to see depth of field catered for! Max
