Welcome aboard Sean, Yep quite large even in 1/72 don't want to think on how much space is needed for the 1/48 Herk

Too right. I saw a 1/72 AC-130 box in a model shop in York. It took up most of the shelf!

I have to build minimum 3 1/72 C-130H in various RDAF schemes and a C-130J in RDAF livery. Just to cover my RDAF goals. Have build a 1/72 USAF C-130E in SEA camo with the wavy lines, being a gunship freak too the AC-130A/E/H/U versions is also dragging. And I really need a short nose C-130A in NMF oooh man all that space this is going to need....

No worries m8. I only have 1/72 aircraft kits in my stash and so will it continue to be :hobbyhorse: I like building in the same scale, so any difference size wise between various subjects is obvious

I'm seriously considering creating a Vacform mould for the cockpit area of the Italeri kit a la the Esci clear parts. Those small windows under the main windshield is really really bad on the Italeri, full of sink marks and not fitting particular well either. I have a Herk on the bench which is glued together. I could cut the cockpit area free of the model fill and sand it to be the master, stuff it inside, and cast a plaster mould... :pipe::hmmm:
