RichardL
Thanks guys. I did some paint chipping along the LE: I think I did too much on the intake lips, so I will retouch.
RichardL
It's gloss coating time. The bottom gets it first. I used Winsor & Newton acrylic gloss varnish.

RichardL
I was hoping the gloss coats would darken/deepen the colours, but that does not seem to be the case here with W & N.
Breaker
Really good job on the camouflage, as soon as I saw the one at Newark, I knew I wanted to build one in that scheme and you've really done it justice!
najkos
I just found this thread, and what an outstanding build it is, I must say! Being a former Viggen mechanic, it sure looks the part. Just one thing though. The fighter Viggen (JA 37) doesn't have the lower anti collision light. So before you go on with decalling, you might want to remove it.. ;-) Just drop me a note if I can help with some pictures (maybe a little late..). RichardL
Lower anti-collision light has been carefully removed with a curved x-acto blade. Thanks for pointing this out. The area is then reprayed: I'll regloss the area after decaling.

najkos
Sorry for a somewhat late answer, but on the following link, you'll find a few Viggen pictures. If you tell me what you need, or you'd like to see, I could upload some more... http://s93.photobucket.com/user/najkos/library/Flygbilder/37449 Regards, Niklas

RichardL
I'm still applying all the little stencils to the wing and fuselage pylons. There are so many of them. I still have two wing pylons left to do. Will put up some pics when I'm done.
