Wee Beastie
Now that my Tornado GR.4 is now constructed, I am going to make a start on my CH-53. Apart from an Eduard cockpit set, this going to be an OOB build, and displayed on a Skunkmodels Carrier Deck base. I was originally going to do an "in-flight" display, but now it'll be static with main rotors & tail folded. Wish me luck....I'm going in!!

Astonishing build, and the weathering is superb to say the least. It'll take some beating. Ozzy
Wow, Looks fantastic, I was thinking of doing one of these but even with the tail boom folded I didn't have the space. Looks good so far, I've been in the back of a number of USMC "Cadillac /heavy weights" the thing that got me was how oily they were, dripping down, apparently it's normal for oil to drip down, it's a worrying thing when it stops. Pete in Lincs
A welcome return. Back in the early 80's we had one of these in our hangar overnight. It dwarfed the Puma's. Very impressive.

Was that at Odiham Pete? Only ask as my late Dad was a Load Master on 33 Sqdn Puma's in the mid '70's. We lived in Fleet then, and I remember the CH-53's flying over occasionally.
