Work done over the weekend. I managed to get some wash on what was left of the panel lines that weren't obliterated by filler or primer. It needs some work to tidy it up still..
Also got the airbrakes on.

Very clever work on those squadron markings - they look great!

I just now noticed the shape of the modified nose (you have a close-up in your first post covered in putty, but somehow I missed it) - what did you use for the nose cone?

The nosecone is the original one from the kit. Because I raised the fuselage line by grafting on the Hunter canopy area, the plug I fitted brought the lines almost perfectly together.

Very nice job, looks awesome!

Have to wait till I get home to see it properly on anything larger than my iPhome!!!

But I do like a lot and do agree the squadron id panel is nicely done!

Just a little done last night. Finished off the decals. Serial from a Phantom, seeing as we wouldn't have bought them had we had this. Found I was missing an X, so I've made up a mask to spray it in once the decals are laquered over
