Max Headroom
It looks better than the real thing! Please can someone pursuade the RAF to adopt a proper camo scheme?! Trevor
Devilfish
Work done over the weekend. I managed to get some wash on what was left of the panel lines that weren't obliterated by filler or primer. It needs some work to tidy it up still..Also got the airbrakes on.
Devilfish
Very clever work on those squadron markings - they look great! I just now noticed the shape of the modified nose (you have a close-up in your first post covered in putty, but somehow I missed it) - what did you use for the nose cone? The nosecone is the original one from the kit. Because I raised the fuselage line by grafting on the Hunter canopy area, the plug I fitted brought the lines almost perfectly together. trickyrich
Very nice job, looks awesome! Have to wait till I get home to see it properly on anything larger than my iPhome!!! But I do like a lot and do agree the squadron id panel is nicely done!
Devilfish
Just a little done last night. Finished off the decals. Serial from a Phantom, seeing as we wouldn't have bought them had we had this. Found I was missing an X, so I've made up a mask to spray it in once the decals are laquered over

Devilfish
Moving on to weaponary.....I wanted Red Tops, but I only have 2, which are in my Lightning kit. So, they are really only tubes with fins attached, how hard can it be?
Devilfish
"How hard can it be?" Well, apparently, fairly hard...... Here's the prototype Red Top. The main fins are a pain to get right and all the same. I haven't added the fairings yet either....
