Thanks Guys keep the orders coming......................Well I have been told by people very much in the know Airfix wil not be doing the early versions hence my set.

BUT I am sure glad the news on the 2 seaters by Sword was made, as after my big HOUSE / WORK move that was going to slip onto the work bench.

I will be back with more sets soon, well after the MOVE

Fingers crossed that you don't have to slip that project back on the bench then Ali, as that will mean the Sword ones are good 'uns...!!

If I order a Lightning set now, together with some other bits, could you hold sending them all off until the Lightning set is in stock?

Thanks

Keith

Hi Keith

We'll I do hope the Sword kits are good, as it was also concerning me as to where the costs would run to on the conversion, not much would be left of the Airfix kit.

Place an order,a a that way I can get everything together for one delivery to you.

Cheers Ali

The set looks great Ali & very reasonably priced.Given that Airfix have previously produced an F1 & F3, I'd still put money on Airfix doing the early versions at some point - especially as the F2A has been so succesful. I'm looking forward to the F6 of course!!. Meantime, I wish you success with your conversion set. Looks like you have a winner there.

Well I am going to resist and persevere with my Trumpetblower. Got it in a trade so minimal cost there plus the rear end set, intake ring and some Aeroclub undercarriage, all for under a tenner. I'll also have fun doing it too

Over £25 for an F.1 from the Airfix F.2a, I can wait and see if someone does an OOB kit at those prices
