I have a half completed conversion from 20 years ago lurking in a box, I was attempting to build one by doing unspeakable things to an Airfix Bulldog. I have a few hours flying the beauty. You felt like you were sitting in a baby F16 under that big canopy. The illusion was destroyed when you applied power and had to wait patienty for something to happen! I had one memorable flight with a noted display pilot attempting to teach me inverted spins. I'm staring up-no I mean down watching the world rotate at a great rate, while the instructor is speaking as if he is sitting on a couch reading the weather report!
