Decal stripes around 144th scale AIM9 and similar tight radius missiles

Hi All,

I wonder if there is any advice on adding the coloured stripes to missiles.

A revell 144th F14A has several supplied decals but i struggle to apply them around the missile circumferences.

I want to use the decals rather than hand paint the lines.

G'day Mark,

For my sins I use Johnsons Klear as a decal setting solution.What I tend to do with the really tiny stuff is place a tiny drop of Klear on the item and then place one end of the decal on to the drop of goop and then let the surface tension do the work of taking the decal around the shape.This can be tricky,thick decals won't willingly conform.

A bit of coercion using a corner of tissue (bog roll for me) to soak up excess fluid and gently pressing the decal into place is required to make the job work,be bold but with care.

If you see something working for you pursue it.We are all experimenting if the truth be known.If your method works then it is just as valid as the next mans method that works.
