Rich F
Wow, can't believe this is still ongoing! Nearly there, with a bit of luck and 2 weeks off work, I should have this one cleared off the bench before the new year!!! Just the final assembly and shes past the finishing post!
Squibby
The weathering on that bird looks spot on. Looking forward to seeing the finished product. What did you use to grubby it up so convincingly?

What did you use to grubby it up so convincingly? Thanks Squibby, The weathering took a while, probably longer than necessary. I wasn't happy with the first coat of paint so I put a heavy oil wash over this then used the salt method to lay a lightened second coat of the camo colours, after this I used Tamiya smoke and pastels to grubby up the paint work. Hopefully should be RFI next week. Cheers
Tempestwulf
That camo looks fantastic Rich and the missiles photo realistic too. Thx for building one of our old Scooters. They're in the US now, sold to Draken Industries along with the Aermacchi's which are used for test & evaluation.
Calum
Love the overall finish and colours. Really nice. Are you going to put on the high intensity strobe forward of the anti col? Edited December 17, 2016 by Calum
Bandsaw Steve
I love these jets. A4s forever! Can't wait to see this finished. Keep going! 👌

CJP
Really like the way your A4 is progressing - the Euro 1 RNZAF scheme really suits the Skyhawk and is on my to do list one day

k5054nz
I love what you did with the wash - I much prefer the look of this version than your initial paint job (no offence intended - personal taste). I'm very happy to echo everyone else happy to see it back!
