Michaelvk
Well, the joins between the inner and outer wing sections are making me not want to live on this planet any more. They've got more gap than the London look.. Anyway, while I softly weep and use my tears to aid the wet and dry sandpaper on the joins, have a look at what arrived in the post this morning, via the always excellent www.modelsrgo.co.uk Have a look at the tiny ness of the rear sight post.. Michaelvk
So other than the oil cooler and radiator, pretty much all of this will be invisible. Trumpeter approached this with an all or nothing attitude where it came to the cowling.
Michaelvk
Here's the lump painted up. I'm not going mad with detail and weathering because you really can't see much of it in there.. I added the pipe behind the radiator, and the hoses ruining out the front of the radiator to the non-existent resevoir behind the prop hub.. I still need to paint and fix the radiator louvres.. Michaelvk
More paint.. The RLM71 dark green took forever to get on there, but came out okay in the end.. The RLM70 is going on a lot more hassle free..

Michaelvk
So progress is fairly steady.. Only the tail boom and fin left to do.. The dark green/black green combo is actually quite awkward to paint in certain light settings.. And loads of touch ups to follow..
