Finally, the Jaguar GR.1 cockpit - I thought they forgot about it after the Jaguar A one.

And that Hunter EJ seat looks incredible - in 1:72! Not my scale, but still...

We never had it so good with resin... Rapid Prototyping (RP) is the thing that's bringing resin casting into this millennium. :clap2:

Wow, that's some selection. The details are so crisp, no matter which scale they're in.

But it's not as easy as one might think. There are still VERY (very very very...) few machines out there that are actually capable of producing the kind of detail and surface finish that we require and a lot of thinking has to go into orientation of the parts in space, material choice, spit up of parts into smaller sub-assemblies etc. to ensure you actually can get the results you're after. I'm going to release my first product made from a 3D printed master soon, but my quest for finding the best print solution is far from over as I had a lot of problems along the way.

Those companies that have already found a reliable and effective way of successfully incorporating 3D printing in their production (Aires, Eduard, Barracuda...) deserve a lot of respect for that!

Indeed - and the machines are bloomin' expensive too. It requires a substatial investment if you're going to use your own printer, and patience if you're using someone else's :)

Indeed, the one we're looking at buying is £680,000. Mind you it has a very high resolution of 13 microns.

I'm utterly gobsmacked by that Hunter ejection seat in 1/72. Bit clean through the stem of my Magritte pipe.

Do you know if the Wheeliant F-14A wheels are for the Hobby Boss kit?
