SeanM
Uniforms are a bit shiney but it's early stages yet so I'm sure that will be sorted. The faces though are very well done....mine always end up looking like cartoon characters. Yours have come out great.

Yeah the uniforms are a bit shiny at the moment, but that is a basecoat, I'll be doing shade washes and highlights over it soon, then a matt coat at the end. I was pleased with how the faces came out, they are done with various oil over an enamel base layer, using this painting sequence: http://www.armorama.co.uk/modules.php?op=modload&name=Sections&file=index&req=viewarticle&artid=1993 I also used some tips from Verlinden's diorama book on painting faces. I'll start on the groundwork soon - then the updates should be bit more interesting! Cheers James

James G
Hi guys & gals, I've done some more on the Vietnam dio, used teddy bear fur for the grass and I am making some banana palms and other foliage from wire and tin foil. I'm also using preserved small garden plants and fake aquatic plants which I'll paint up. More progress photos to follow: Cheers James
depressed lemur
It is starting to look good there. I just hope that the teddy bear didn't suffer too much before you skinned it .
