Tom Cooper
Very nice, Bosse. Just one question: I guess you followed these 'instructions' for painting your AIM-9J/N/Ps..? https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:AIM-9P.png If yes, sorry to bother with this, but the seeker head is always painted white. It's only the glass at the front that is transparent, which - because one can see 'into the missile' through it - then looks like 'black' when seen from most of directions. Follow these links to see few examples: http://archive.rocketreviews.com/reviews/all/scratch_aim_9p_sidewinder.shtml http://www.whq-forum.de/cms/163.0.html http://www.f-16.net/f-16_armament_article1.html (note Ps on that Pakistani F-16A) (An exception would be AIM-9P-4/5s, though these were not around as of the time 8676 was looking the way you painted her.) OOPs. Thanks for that Tom, I was actually following the Two Bobs decal sheet guide which actually calls for the dark area at the front to extend beyond the Fwd fins. I did have a quick look at the photo that you sent me and decided that what I had painted was better. So now I have removed the dark area at the nose and given the missiles a total respray using some rattle cans which is now almost complete. Just a bit of redecalling to do, luckily I do have a spare sheet.
Jabba
Almost finished, just the canopy to add, which I will hopefully do after I have finished here.
Tom Cooper
Cool. Didn't expect to see Sidewinders making it as...'sexy'? ;-)
