charley420
Right iv'e been looking for an excuse to build this for a while now, as i usually build in 1/72. I'm building it in the actual bunny fighter scheme, and have the masks for the grass down the sides. I started on the main gear bays, as i wasn't in the mood for messing about with resin tonight. Added some semi fictitious cabling and hose work from fishing elastic and old hdmi lead. Thanks for looking.

charley420
Right a bit of an update, not had much time due to loads of overtime at work. Got the majority of the pe on the cockpit, the rest was too tiny to even attempt. And got the tail pipe assembled, Looks great down there, disappointingly its almost impossible to see once its installed in the fuselage.
SaintsPhil
Pits looking smart, I gave up with the PE on the engine for the PF, too much of a pain and as you say, you can't see it anyway!

Jabba
I have been working on mine for about that long and all I seem to have is the odd part either painted or glued together. Well done with your progress and I am looking forward to seeing it with markings on.
snapper_city
Did the ultimate thinners work well with the citadel paint? I am meaning to get some next time I'm over Snm Stuff.
charley420
Yes and it even rescued nicely some valejo that I'd put Mr hobby levelling thinners in and turned to jelly. It's good stuff.

charley420
Right got the blue on this morning, and started some weathering. The wear was achieved by flashing the paint off with the hair-dryer, then sticking tape to it, and pulling it off. a slight rub with a thumb nail in the desired location creating localised patches. charley420
Finally sitting on its gear, got some more wearing in to do on the undercarriage, and the tail end metal work. oh yes and attach the gear doors and nose probe. could this be the first GB entry i have ever finished????
