snapper_city
Thanks. The loft is massive and one of the reasons we chose the property. It is fully boarded but would need work to roomify it. Money being the biggest obstacle.
Speedman
As long as it's dry and has power or is easy to route power to, it's somewhere to a start. An old friend of mind used his loft, to start with he had a desk, chair and a cupboard. Over 2 years we built it into a full studio and he still maintains that taking his time with it was the best move he made. In the beginning he had planned everything out to the last detail, but over the course of the build because he found the larger space had allowed him to work differently, almost everything got moved and redesigned. And keep hunting at the local tip for old kitchen cabinets, the bearing drawer runners and handles/knobs are so useful (and cheaper than B&Q!) We ended up building half his studio with junkyard/tip scavenged stuff. =D
