Caution Wake Turbulence Posted January 30, 2014 Share Posted January 30, 2014 Hello, just a quick question, does anyone know why this kit has a choice of two keel inserts? Scott Garard Posted February 1, 2014 Share Posted February 1, 2014 The pre-production aircraft had the narrow keels. Stress testing revealed that the wingbox section needed strengthening. I can only presume that the broader keel was another strengthening measure that was subsequently introduced onto all production aircraft.
