DavidJ
It looks like a nice kit with crisp moulding. The only negative is the absence of some crew figures. Still, that will give the aftermarket manufacturers another opportunity. Cheers David

MikeR
Hi, What parts are included in the PE set? Are handrails included? Thanks. Regards, Ayala Botto Hi Ayala, I don't have the kit, but here's the Hobby Search page for the kit: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10245971 Judging from THIS page of the instruction sheet, the stanchions for the rails are included, but you don't get anything else. There isn't a shot of the etch fret but the radars are in brass, plus other details. I believe Merit are also going to be releasing an Osa II at some point as well. Mike. magman2
Make the rings on the stanchions and attach fine wire, this will not be to difficult and will look good. Net Photo
Shar2
Flightpath do 1/72 stanchions for the Airfix and Revell Vospers. They will probably be fine for the Osa.

DavidJ
Trumpeter had a 1/72 OSA-1 at the Nuremberg Toy and Hobby Fair. It is suggested that it will be the first of a series. I know that the development of a plastic kit takes a lot of time but it's a shame that Trumpeter and Merit have both released the same vessel when there are so many other 1/72 subjects.
