When HMS Fourdroyant grounded at Blackpool, local nicked bits of wood and turned them into souvenirs, or so I'm told. Below is a picture of a pin cushion that's been in our family for a long time, I can only assume it was acquired because our family live in Fleetwood, just a few mile up the coast from Blackpool, Just in case anyone is interested...
