tinleeds Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Just finished this project few days ago. Building process here http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234941996-mig-3-trumpeter-148/ . This model from Trumpeter is really nice. A bit scratch parts plus photoetched from Eduard. Hope you like it 7
Dave N Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 That's really nice- interesting a/c I've not seen before, the diorama is very atmospheric.. -thx for posting
spitfire Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Nice build, and a nice little diorama, I like the way you have portrayed the different paint used on the wood and metal parts of the airframe. Cheers Dennis
batcode Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 fantastic mig lookjs great very nice weathering and finish, great little dio, nice job
georgeusa Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 I really like the way you have portrayed this aircraft. It looks great in the diorama and great on its own. I especially like the weathering on it. Well done.
Vulcanicity Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 That's a beautiful build, and the heavy weathering is spot-on for your field diorama. Isn't the Mig-3 a looker? I'm quite tempted to do a 1:72 Whif in RAF colours...
tinleeds Posted January 30, 2014 Author Posted January 30, 2014 Thank you friends! Without your help and support I couldn't do that I'm so glad you like it and IMHO - MiG-3 got a look! Probably there is to many scratches on the body but this is my old problem: can't stop in right time p.s. I planning to go to Huddersfield model show 16 of February. If anybody know any modellers from Leeds with little space on desc to display my couple models? Regards Ivan
Learstang Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Beautiful job on the MiG, Ivan! The MiG-3 looks fast just sitting there - I've always thought it looked like a racer. Best Regards, Jason
