ABeck Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 HB Me 262 B twin seaters:Apart from some minor things (mad riveter´s orgy e.a.)these kits suffer from a major outline miss shape:The main canopy is way too high (same with the 32nd predecessor from TR). The canopy from the old Dragon/DML kit is very much closer to reality. Something for the aftermarket clear resin specialists?

Tonka Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 (edited) The Me-262s 1/48 scale from Dragon / DML / Revell / Italeri are all same molds from the original Trimaster Me-262s . HobbyBoss/Trumpeter have a dubious reputation because some kits are good while others are trash (from the modeling point of view) or to be more polite some of theirs kits really " looks like the real subject " .... But in terms of the Me-262 kits even the Tamiya 1/48 has missed something on the vertical tail shape . Long time ago I heard that the only Me-262 canopy right shaped was/is the Hasegawa 1/32, an ancient ex-Frog mold !!! Tonka Edited August 13, 2015 by Tonka
