That encounter is well described here: http://www.south-lancs-aviation.bravepages.com/ju88.htm As for the kit modifications, I removed the fabric in front and behind the gun bays, added lines on the wing's leading edge (I know these were actually fabric ports, but enraved lines work for me), the ailerons come from an old KMC set and the cockpit details are scratch built with few details coming from Valiant Wings etched).
