The OV-10 has never really been on my radar although it is one of my Dad's all time favourite aircraft and I do remember seeing a USAFE example giving a spirited display at the RAF St Athan BofB at Home Day in 1982. My USAF boss in Sarajevo in the 90's had flown them too in Vietnam before moving on to the F-4 and F-16……I must admit that I had no idea how complicated the gear retraction system was on this aircraft, especially when you consider the size of the sponsons.
