Muzz
I finished this earlier in the year but never posted any pic's. It's Italeri's 1/48 ADV kit done as 111 Sqn ZH554 as it was just prior to retirement with a mix of the new MSG and CG + LAG scheme's. The seats, wheels and pylons are all Paragon, Xtradecal 111Sqn Battle of Britain decals and Flightpath resin tanks. Also scratched a new console to represent a twin sticker but you can't really see it in the photo's! Paints are Gunze. Just realised the ejection seats, which aren't fixed in, have moved inside the cockpit in this photo hence their wonky angle! Latinbear
Very nice indeed. I had the pleasure of attending the last F3 airshow - such a shame they're out of service. Presumably the canopy is fixed so what will you do about the seats?
Stephen
Great work, I was at the last F3 airshow as well. You've done them proud. Stephen
Muzz
Thanks, no the canopy's not fixed in place, I actually meant to take a photo with it open to show the scratched centre console but I forgot!

PaulR
A terrific job with a occasionally challenging kit- did a 23 sqn example a year or so back, and have got 111sqn and 25sqn examples to follow! Am wondering how fast it will take revell to release the F3 version of their upcoming tornado... Edited December 31, 2013 by PaulR

AirfixAndy
That looks really good Muzz....love the patch work paint job. Something you have forgot to put on the tail are the two ILS blade aerials ...they would be just above the 111 Badge and slightly behind....see here . Duncan B
Very inspiring, I have a few Tornados to build but have been put off by the grey schemes. Your scheme looks great. Duncan B
exdraken
great job on the model! hou managed to get very pronounced panel lines, really sharp looking! Could it be that you mounted the tanks a little bit too forward? the fins' positions looks a bit strange.... Regards,
