French Fancy! French Group Build for 2015

Wez

Recommended Posts

Now I know we haven't always seen eye to eye with our neighbours across the Channel but you have to admit, they have a certain style?

Also, as far as I know, we've never done this, sooooo...

...who's interested in a French Group Build, if it was made in France or operated in French colours it should fill the bill!

Also, this would be one that would suit aircraft, ship, car, truck and AFV modellers alike!

So who's in?

Wez - confirmed Francophile.

Deux!

Come on the rest of you, think of all those Mirages, Dewoitines, SPADs, Matras and Renaults... ...you know you want to.

Cinq!

For post-war jet modellers you could do an Ouragan, Mystere IVA, Super Mystere B2, Mirage IIIB/C/E, Mirage IV, Mirage V, Mirage F1, Mirage 2000, Rafale, Jaguar, Fouga Magister, F-84E/G, F-84F, RF-84F, F-86K, T-33, RT-33, F-100D/F, Vampire, Meteor, Mistral, Etendard, Super Etendard, Crusader... ...and that's the ones that have kits I can think of, is that enough inspiration for you?

Don't get me started on post-war prop aircraft... ...and there's all the wartime equipment, civvie stuff as well as Matra racing cars, Renault trucks, those curious Char tanks etc

I'm desperate to add Jean-Marie Accart's Spitfire IX to my shelf (from the Eduard Profipack) so I might consider this one too

Bon!

Huit... et vous Monsieur/Madamme?

Why not ! Lots of cool WW-2 planes.

Good man! I've got the Hasegawa and Tamiya Dewoitine D.520's and a Monogram A-75 Hawk... ...there's all those fantastically named colours and random colour schemes too...

So that's 8, only another vingt-deux to go...

Dix!

Include me too, please. (I have quite a few in the stash...only trouble is, can I wait till 2015??)

The answer is...Oui!

Philip

Tres bon! Truth told I can't wait till then either but I guess we'll have to (although I know what I want to do now)!

I guess 2015 is when Airfix will release their new mould Super Mystere, Mirage III/V, Vampire etc...

I do have a nice 1/72nd Revell F-100 that would look nice in FAF colours...Add me to the list.

Onze!

Radliegh, you're so right, it would look good in FAF colours - you're in!

Prochaine...
