Dave Gibson
_________________________________________________ Of particular interest in the picture is just how far the cockpit entry flap stands out from the fuselage side. A common mistake made by modelers is to have it too close to the side. However, the flap was hinge-bound and stood well out as shown in the picture. Some more postshading in different shades after that and going for upper surfaces _________________________________________________ Completed 1/32 Revell Bf109 G6 Hartmann backup aircraft (Karaya) http://www.britmodel...mann-backup-ac/ 1/48 Tamiya F4U-1 Corsair Foy Garison http://www.britmodel...a +f4u +garison Edited December 28, 2013 by Live_bait

robvulcan
Beautfiul work there. Is this kit all injection plastic or is it with resin too. Cheers Rob
Live_bait
Hi Rob: No resin parts included in this Profipack kit. I added Ultracast resin wheels that from my perspective look better than the ones that come with the kit. By the way ailerons and wing tips where primed before assembly. Cheers and thank you for the nice comments, Here the camo already sprayed and post-shaded with paler tones. _________________________________________________ Completed 1/32 Revell Bf109 G6 Hartmann backup aircraft (Karaya) http://www.britmodel...mann-backup-ac/ 1/48 Tamiya F4U-1 Corsair Foy Garison http://www.britmodel...a +f4u +garison Edited December 29, 2013 by Live_bait

Live_bait
Cool Rob, enjoy the kit, besides the wheel wells and exhaust assembly which took me more time than expected, this is a beautiful kit, the engraved rivets and panel lines are gorgeous. I know that it's dificult to mesure that dihedral, but I would sugest to pull up the wing tips with masking tape right after bonding the wings to the fuselage, and let it cure during the night. Otherwise the dihedral will be a way less than 6deg, and they will look almost parallel to the water line. I dry test before bonding and that is the way it looked for me. That 6 deg dihedral is part of the character of the Spitfire ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Water Line Edited December 29, 2013 by Live_bait

Live_bait
Decals already on and sealed D-Day stripes will come later on because I need the decals as a pattern. One distinctive feature is that in the SZ code it's written inside of the S the notice "Wipe your shoes" in polish.
