Patrice, there are no problems with either of those two models. The moulds are almost finished and we expect both Mirage and Fouga to become available during this spring.

My stash only contains WW2 era craft, however I am sure to make some exceptions.

Would have loved to do the F1 AZ in Gabon markings for the lesser air force GB.

If the product turns out great then it's worth the wait.

Besides, the "must build soon" line will keep me busy for the next decade or more.

You still can, just buy one of these:

https://www.scalemates.com/kits/187577-lf-models-c7250-mirage-f-1az-gabon-pt-iii

The set includes decals and the resin parts required to convert the Hasegawa kit into the AZ variant

Looking at the moulds we can but hope that MPM or one of their affiliated companies plan on upscaling to 1:48 scale.......this would knock spots off the current 'competition' and give us some good quality, buildable Mirage F.1s

Apparently early January:

Quote

"Hi,

yes, the moulds have finaly reached the production status, now we have to focus on finishing the decals, instructions etc and the first
kits are to be available early January.

Petr "

and

The first two boxes will have Spanish + Moroccan and Greek camouflages. See the previous page, there are our boxarts. Another versions are to come later, of course.

Regards

Petr

'G'morning boss. Yeah, well, you see, I badly need a raise is the thing.

What? A raise? Again?

Yeah, 'mefraid so.

But why - last month you got... Wait... Are you at those little aeroplanes again? You said the Tu-22 was the last thing you really needed last month!! What is it this month?

etc.

As a what-if????

In the late 80s, tactics were for Harriers to fly in formations of four. Three were configured for the normal CAS role while one was an escort, known as the "stinger". This aircraft would carry a Sidewinder on one outer pylon and a Phimat on the other. There was also a fit which had two Winders and a centreline Phimat, but that wasn't used often as much of the chaff ended up in the back hatch.
