Korean War Group Build

Recommended Posts

Thanks Mish.

If it flew, floated, drove, North, South it's in!

Any type of kit is in eg Injection, resin, vac form etc.

If you're unsure if a type was used just ask here and we'll find out.

And if you're unsure about what you want to build, there's a list here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_military_equipment_used_in_the_Korean_War

But I'm not sure how reliable it is...

Cheers,

Sean

Looks okay, except for the F-86D & Il-28 Beagle.

Add various LVT's for USMC

Yeah, the F-86D was the one that made me question it's reliability.

I'm in with a SAAF P-51 :)

Good to hear. That should provide a bit of variety in this G.B.

I might crack open the Packet for this one.... are there any unusual schemes that fit the bill?

Excellent choice. It's such a great kit. Have build both the cargo version and the Vietnam war Gunship.

There should be plenty of scope for the unusual in this build, so feel free to go further!

It does look like a good kit, it also looks really big.

And that in natural metal and orange, will be a huge eye catcher. Hope i make it look good

I have one unbuild in my stash too... Planned to be be a VNAF. I know, I know, I know wrong war.

Only downside with this kit is a really really nice cockpit, but not much is visible through the canopy when assembled :weep:

I'm in with the A-Model Yak-18 (one of the types used for the "Bedcheck Charlie" missions) and still torn between the F-80 or the F-84, still I've got a while before I have to decide, I think it will come down to decal availability.

BTW the C-119 is roughly the same size as a C-130 Hercules when finished

To be evil. Do all of them... :wicked:

If you have time. ;)

Who does a c-130 compare to b-17 or lanc, size wise?

Similar size, if not a bit bigger I think.
