Scott Hemsley
As a modeller interested in 1/72 RCAF aircraft, I can only say that by judging from what's been posted ..this Sunderland this has been worth waiting for! Granted, it's still early yet, but it looks like multiple variants/options abound and the surface detailing looks to be much improved compared to the Italeri effort. . Thanks for posting this, Scott

LDSModeller
Yes!! Looking forward to this Sunderland's release The interior looks very good, and accurate - plenty of room to add to the model, depending on your choice and MPM have got the right amount of portholes on the lower forward section (Port 9 & 10 Starboard respectively) To make a MkV or MR5 the modeller will need to add the Sonobouy system in the forward ward room and the GPI (Ground Position Indicator) directly behind 1st pilots seat (portside) GPI I'll buy at least three for RNZAF MR5's Made some other comments on the post in the vendors section that all & sundry may take note if you wish. Just a comment - bear in mind that the Mk III/V would not have a crew table or bunks in the bomb bay . The Mk I/II could have them but they were only by special order. Anti Sub bombs/depth charge would not be stored on the floor (no room), again there was a special bomb trestle which would only be supplied by special oder from Shorts. Any idea of a release date?
