Tiger331
Hi Folks, I've just purchased the new Techmod 1:48 Decal Sheet with markings to complete the Polish AF GD single-seat F-16C Block 52+ in NATO Tiger markings from 2012. I am planning to use a Tamiya 1:48 F-16CJ Block 50 and some CMK resin conformal tanks for this project.....am I on the right track or do I need to look at something different ?. I know Hasegawa do Block 52+ variants of the Viper but I would prefer to use the Tamiya kit as a basis for the project. Thanks in anticipation Mark
Stephen
The Block 50 kit has the GE engine and big mouth inlet (MCID)whereas the Block 52 has the P&W engine and NSI (small intake). You would be better with the Tamiya Thunderbirds kit which contains the relevant Block 52 parts. You also need the extended parabrake housing. Marcus.Q1000859
The Wolfpack Dragchute housing resin item is 48023 and about US$6 depending on where you shop. Marcus
Mike V
Look for the PWMP parabrake extension; the WP one suffers from major shrink problems; same as their 48th scale.
