Shermaniac
If you're after the Korean version of the M26 I'd definitely go with the HobbyBoss [82425] M26A1 - everything comes in the box, and if you want different decals then Bison also do several sets Oh Yes, it has full torsion bar suspension AND a Full Engine pack a tiny bit of PE (for the engine) as well and the price won't rock the world either. It's easily as good as the Tamiya kit and you get separate grab handles and not those silly plugs of plastic you always have to change. Pete610
The M36 Tank destroyer is probably the left-field build you need
Chris Grove
One Cromwell was captured by the Chinese, used against us and, as mentioned above, was knocked out by a Centurion. Not a Comet; these were certainly stationed in Hong Kong (I believe the last ones in the British Army). The Churchills were indeed Crocodiles, but the flamethrower trailers were not found to be of much use, so they were taken off and the tanks used as gun tanks. spaddad
You could backdate the AFV Club Cent kit or use the old Tamiya kit. Tamiya Cromwell, up-dated to MkVII. Centaur Dozer, using Tamiya Cromwell kit and Accurate Armour conversion. Tamiya Churchill Crocodile. Miniart Daimler Dingo Mk111. Any of the available Churchill ARV Mk11`s. Universal Carriers. Daimler Armored Car Churchill Bridgelayer Any M26 Pershing kit. Dragon M46 Patton. M4A3E8 M32 ARV. M24 Chaffee. M3 Half-tracks M8 and M20 Armoured cars. M39 Armored Utility Vehicle. M19 AA vehicle. M4 Dozer Tank M45 Tank. ( An up-gunned M26). LVT-3 Amtrak. M29 Weasel. M41 SPH. LVT-4(A). M7 Priest. M43 SPH. M40 SPH. M36B2. M37 SPH. A lot of these are available in kit form, some are not. Malcoms pretty much got it covered but you can add the DUKW & Aussie Pattern Carrier. The NKPA also used Su-76m spg's & Ba -64 scout cars. It is thought that the Russians supplied a battalion of IS 2's to the Chinese who deployed them to Korea but no combat has been reported. It looks very interesting as most sources say that the M47s have never been bloodied in the US service, Are there any photos supporting this theory? The armistice was signed in July 1953 - was the M47 really deployed to Korea before that date, or was it a late newcomer like the M41?
