Been doing this as part of "The Obsolete Kit Group Build" on here , been fun , been tearfull lol,

Nice work, I remember seeing one of these in John Menzies in Dundee when I were a lad. Good job on an aged kit!

Breaks my heart. I built one in about 1980 as a teenager. Family cat despatched it from my shelf of glory in about 1984! Such is life.

Very well done build and displayed here quite nicely in a diorama setting ! The Lysander is a distinctive craft and it's shown off here wonderfully.

Hi,

After building 6 models over 20 years (with some time out for forays into model railways and sailing ships) I recently started this kit. Phew, the inner framework almost needs jigs and fixtures to assemble and glue. You Mick have also helped but I am still not into the framework.
