Tomjw
Wow. I especially like the soft edges on your F-4C camo. Cheers Tom
Bri48
Some updates on current builds.. Esci Phantoms 48th Scale - Italeri Tornado 48 Scale - Academy T-50 48th Scale. Italeri Typhoon 48th Scale - Revell Typhoon 1/32 Scale. All of the decals now complete apart from some minor ones. Next stage will be to seal with Gloss varnish and then apply some washes where appropriate. Brian.
Bri48
Managed to get most of the decals sealed in today on the above builds. With regards the F-4C added a brown wash also above a little weathering. This aircraft appears so manky (worn) in photos i've seen, i'm hoping to get it somewhere near, hopefully. Bri48
Bit more work done on SCAT XXVII. Rubbed off most of the brown wash and sealed with Humbrol gloss varnish. Allowed the varnish to dry then applied a couple of coats Humbrol Matt. Painted the engine area with a mixture of enamel silver and matt black and then enhanced a little with Rub & Buff.

Bri48
A bit of photo editing with the help of web archive photos, Way back in the 70's I purchased Lou Drendels ........and Kill Migs.....and found it a fascinating read with many excellent photographs. Olds in particular seemed to be an inspiring leader of his generation.
