MartG
A few years ago I produced 1/96 resin kits for the Saturn 1B and Block 2 Saturn 1 ( still available if anyone's interested in them ) but never got around to doing the Block 1 Saturn 1. Well I've finally done it ! I've produced alternative parts to make the first three launchers ( SA-1 to SA-3 ) and the final one ( SA-4 ). The first two were pretty much identical, while SA-3 sprouted a few dummy parts to test the aerodynamics of a live 2nd stage ( all the Block 1s only tested the 1st stage, and carried dummy upper stages ), and SA-4 had a revised 1st stage interstage and more aerodynamic tweaks. Major resin parts Hopefully it won't take me as long to build as it has taken to produce the kit
