arfa1983
Hi All, This is my first post on BM, but will have many more to come. I pretty much exclusively model 1/48 aircraft, but have been known to dabble in 1/35 armour. I know that 1/72 would solve my storage shelf problems, but I cannot bring myself to do it! I used the excellent TwoBobs Decals for this kit. I will probably begin my foray into 1/72 by building this same aircraft in 1/72 as the decal set comes with 1/48, 1/72 and 1/32 decals. I did add resin cans to the rear end, but didn't do anything with the cockpit. I probably should have as the kit version is very average... maybe next time. This Tamiya model was my first lesson that certain brand name does not necessarily mean excellent quality. After a lot of filler especially around the front end I am quite happy with the result. I think the blue colour is slightly off, but looks good nonetheless. Unfortunately I no longer am in possession of this baby as I sold my whole collection recently in order to move from Australia to Singapore. Looking forward to rebuilding a new collection here! Any and all comments welcomed. Cheers, Arthur.
