brewerjerry
Hi wonder if this means they are releasing a standard merlin lanc ? jerry
maltadefender
As I understand it all the parts for a standard Lanc are in the Dam-Busters boxing. New box and decals and away we go...

Harry Lime
As I understand it all the parts for a standard Lanc are in the Dam-Busters boxing. That is the case. So if you've got some spare decals, no need to wait for a 'standard' boxing. Mark.

tonyot
There is a thread on Hyperscale saying that the Italeri 1/72nd scale Stirling has been cancelled and that it is no longer on the Italeri website,.....so do Italeri know something which we don`t? Apparently there is a Stirling on the new Airfix magazine calendar but is that just the new artwork applied to the old kit? All the best Tony
jasman71
I've also seen some fab artwork for an Ac-47, so could this mean a new-mould DC-3 or just a re-release?
maltadefender
I think that the Lanc artwork is a close-up of one of Mr Tooby's fine non-Airfix pictures of the Dam-Busters.

Hardtarget
I have heard rumours of an Airfix Dakota,....nothing definite but we can but hope. Cheers Tony I heard that too, especially as Italeri gave AF x amount for their BBMF scheme only to stick one at them with a new italeri boxing with the new scheme the BBMF dak is wearing. So wouldnt surprise me if that AF have stuck two fingers at the itis.
jasman71
I did comment on the Lanc artwork that it would look good on an airfix box, but I got no reply to that. He only said that the images were for sale as prints . And very nice they'd look too, if I had the space! The definitive Dc-3/C-47 in 72nd. I'm sure they'd sell buckets of em! Especially next year, with nice black and white stripes on EDIT: this is the Lanc artwork, screen cap from their Facebook page Edited November 13, 2013 by jasman71
