Su-27Ub Flanker C 1/72 Trumpeter

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone !!! After a very long time i'm back again . This is my latest project . The Trumpeter kit is a very good one with very nice detail and loads of weapons . My previous attempts to paint the model failed but this one is the final . I still have to put the missiles but from what you will see you get the picture . Painting freehand as always . I hope you like it

I've built the J-11B , the Su-30MKK, the Su-27 (Early) , converted the Su-30MKK into a RusAF Su-30SM and converted the Su-27UB into an IAF Su-30K

As they are all, essentially, the same kit, the links above should show what the kit(s) are like.

Some minor quibbles - seam line down the canopy, small 'squiggle' on the L/E wing root, incorrect blow-in doors etc.

Apart from Zvezda's Su-27SM (which IMHO) is the definitive Flanker kit, the Trumpeter Flankers are 2nd best - but provide other variants that you can't make with Zvezda's kit.

Go for it !!!

Ken
