SaintsPhil
I started this one for the F-15 GB earlier in the year, here's the build thread for anyone whose interested... http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234934042-148-hasegawa-f-15c-as-an-improved-baz/#entry1230019 And here's how it looks today Not the best photo as phone camera is naff! To summarise it's the Hasegawa F-15C kit, plus CFTs from an Academy Ra'am (not 100% sure these are accurate for a Baz but oh well!). I was building it as an 'improved Baz' and had found a suitable aircraft to model that worked from the Has kit, no ECM too on vertical tail and no ECM lumps on the tips of the fuselage. I've forgotten with airframe I was planning though, I also may not have the decals I need...so back to drawing board! If this goes well I may resurect the Bucc from the FAA GB too!! SaintsPhil
Progress! Finished some rescribing, reprimed then fitted the canopy, not a great fit closed... On to preshading Since I took this I've sprayed the base FS36375 next up is the FS36320 'splotches'. Then some serious post shading as I'm planning on this being a well weathered bird. SaintsPhil
Thanks chap, getting up a head of steam with this one again now After a couple of chilli evenings out in the garage the main paintings done! The darker grey looks a little glossy in photos as is still a bit wet! I went freehand with Camo, as there's so little difference overspray isn't really noticeable! There is a bit more contrast now they've dried fortunately. If I get time this afternoon I'm going to do a little post shading. Then it's gloss coat and decals Edited November 22, 2013 by SaintsPhil

SaintsPhil
After some post shading, gloss coat then decals The decals are from sky models, they were pretty good but a little brittle. The red stripes on the inner tails broke up some but I can rescue that with some red paint. Since taking these snaps I've added the many...many stencils! Gloss coat to seal too, so weathering next, starting with panel lines.

SaintsPhil
Another quick update, just about there now All that's really left to do is finish and add the missiles, then give it a final Matt coat, I've also realised I need to repaint the nose as the picture I found with a dark radome were of 828 not 848!
