A pair of Spitfire Mk14's in 1/48 scale

Latest of the bench, a pair of Academy Mk14 Spitfires.

Spitfire FR Mk14 E of 273 squadron, Tan Son Nhut, Saigon; Autumn 1945.

and

Spitfire F Mk14 E of 17 squadron, Seletar, Singapore 1944 flown by Ginger Lacy

I thought I would get these out of the way before Airfix brings there's out next year..............(must be a certainty :coolio: ). Very easy builds.... OK I know there are shape problems ......... I won't tell if you don't :winkgrin:

very nice my fiancees grandfather was ground crew with 17 in japan and lacey was his co..

What a small world. Bet he's got a few tails to tell. :winkgrin:

Just a quickie Jenko, did you manage to remove the mold line over the low canopy ok?

I'll be tackling mine sometime soon.

Really easy Rick. The plastic is a bit thick and soft (bit like me) so buffed up quite well (unlike me). :coolio:

Anyone have any additional info on RN135? I'm looking for anything that will tie dates to locations beyond that in the Production Schedule. Unfortunately the AM78 reveals no more than the schedule.

Any book or web sources and of course any photos would be fantastic.
