Mr T
I trust that this is not a rebox of the Pavla kit, good to see the gun turret.

stevehnz
The RN schemes look rather nice but unless AZ know something we don't, why oh why would they give a humbrol colour call for Hu181 whuich afaik, is long out of production & well nigh unobtainium? Rabbit Leader
Have always liked the Oxford and can still recall having second thoughts of not buying the old Frog / Novo kit when I was a little tacker.. May it be a decent kit and hopefully someone will post some sprue shots shortly. RAAF version for me !! Cheers.. Dave

Rabbit Leader
At least yours have got a bit of colour Dave. :(Steve. You could always ditch that "Silver Fern" version and opt for a proper RAAF one! Saying that, I kinda like the overall yellow one myself, however probably couldn't go past the camo one if I ever did get one. Sounds like I'm talking myself into two.. Cheers.. Paul J
The Dutch option on the T1 issue is strange in being overall dark grey! Is that right? I have only seen photos of dark green/dark earth and unsure ofunderside colour silver or light grey, maybe yellow. But overall DG?? Love to know more. However I really do fancy the civvy one! Test Graham
The only question I would have about the civilian ones is "Were they Oxfords or Consuls?" Consuls had a slightly longer nose, for luggage IIRC.

See this link : http://www.iaopa.eu/mediaServlet/storage/gamag/apr07/p22_p25.pdf 27 ex RAF Oxfords gained civil C of A and 150 were converted to Consul status. Test Graham
Thaks for the info, Paul, and thank you Homebee for the sprue shots. It generally looks very good, although one disappointing feature is the beautifully faired bombbay. The delightfully clear photo on the front of the Profile shows that this area was much more boxy. Hopefully the plastic will be thick enough to rework in this area without too much plasticard addition - though it doesn't seem to be too much of a problem if that is required. Shalako
What about the price of this kit? I mean, it most certainly look very good, with fine detailing on the plastic parts, the resin parts are even more well-detailed, very good clear parts and those decals sheets WOW. But, what about the retail price? Hmm........
