MPM is working on 1/72nd Potez-Air-Fouga CM.170R Magister (& Tzukit) and CM.175 Zéphyr kits.

Bad news for the Valom similar project:

With the open canopy, deployable airbrakes, optional mg nose and opened canopy that looks a slightly better bet than the Airfix or Heller kits. The detail looks to be better on the aft decking too - I wonder if they got the slots just aft of the wing correct, I believe those on the Heller are inaccurate.

Be still my beating heart! C'est magnifique!

With this and the forthcoming Vampire, MPM are certainly looking at ways to keep me poor!

New Fouga Magister decal sheet in 1/72. Available at Telford which will work with any 1/72 scale Fouga kit

Regards,

Joe

Good news!

This is cool news!

I have an older IPMS Austria decal sheet with markings for one of their Magisters so I guess I'll have to get a kit to go with it.

And I was just thinking about building my Heller one with Pavla detail set and canopy. Hrrrmph!

Patrice, there are no problems with either of those two models. The moulds are almost finished and we expect both Mirage and Fouga to become available during this spring.

Good! That would be in time for the French Fancy GB... ...could be doing one of these instead of the Mirage (although I can hear the little Enzo devil on my shoulder sayin "DO both"!).

Good news.

Still no news about the markings?

I've got some Modeldecals just waiting for this release...

Would have been nice if they had put markings for the Aerobatic Team in there.
