Breguet Atlantic 1 Revell 1/72

VERY NICE, indeed!

Beautiful work! I really wish that Revel would make a French Navy Atlantique II kit so I wouldn't have to buy a VERY expensive resin mods set from L' Arsenal!

Great Job!

very nice indeed! Nice to see something different than your usual F14's, 15's and so on

I didn't even know Revell made this. Is it old or new? I've just never seen it before

Si,

This kit has been around for some time. This initial issue of the kit was in 2003 followed by this one in 2007.

That is one hell of a paint job, looks brilliant.

Very nice build indeed! Did you use the decals in the box to do the colour scheme?

To add a pinch of salt: Are you sure you put the aerial at the tail not upside down? http://www.airliners.net/search/photo.search?nr_of_rows=34&page_limit=120&a=1&regsearch=6111&page=1&sid=db87633126c41935383d6ee7180d4841&sort_order=year+desc&thumbnails=

My SO was invited to take part in a mission once and placed on the chair down behind the glass sphere up front. The pilot took a dive onto the North Sea - my SO later said he was scared to death, a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so to speak.

Yes, I used kit decals but needed to mix paints for touch ups to make line ups correct. The tail aerial only fit one way and the directions showed it that way but I agree that it should be horizontal. Good catch.
