Tiger331
Does anyone out there in BM Land know what the MiG-29B that is operated by the Banladeshi Air Force equate to ?......9-12 early, 9-12 Late or 9-13 ?. I want to use the excellent decals produced by Caracal on a Great Wall Hobby kit but as ever, the Caracal placement instructions are pitiful and provide next to nothing in the way of useful information. Stephen
If it's the single seater, I would say the kit to be used is the 9-12 late. Stephen
CaracalModels
Hi Mark, Every single seater on that decal sheet is a standard 9-12 (as stated on the cover) That sheet was designed only with the first GWH late 9-12 kit in mind. Sorry for not making the instructions clearer. Thanks, Kursad Edited October 17, 2013 by CaracalModels
Tiger331
Hi Mark, Every single seater on that decal sheet is a standard 9-12 (as stated on the cover) That sheet was designed only with the first GWH late 9-12 kit in mind. Sorry for not making the instructions clearer. Thanks, Kursad Kursad, Thanks for confirmation but could you please clarify what you mean by 'standard' 9-12 ?. As you almost certainly know, there are 'Late' and 'Early' 9-12 variants and since your decal sheet cover only states '9-12' I was looking for something a little bit more definitive. BTW, I really like some of the subject matter that you have been covering and have, as a result, bought several of your decal sheets BUT I do wish you would include a bit more information on the DPIs......I know some US decal manufacturers (and others) like modellers to rely on other references but I do not really want to have to go out and buy a comprehensive library of books for every project I wish to complete. Im not necessarily looking for the depth of analysis that, say, Two Bobs or Fighterown put on their sheets but it would be helpful to know which particular variant is being portrayed and some recommendations on what kits/accessories you would recommend to complete the project. Hopefully viewed as some constructive criticism and do keep up the good work !. Thanks Mark Y'
CaracalModels
I will keep your suggestions in mind and implement these gradually, starting with more coverage of available accessories and kit suggestions in the upcoming A-1E, Alpha Jet and YF-23 sheets next month. Thanks! Edited October 18, 2013 by CaracalModels
