John, is this your full-time job? I cannot believe how quickly you build these masterpieces. Especially the MFH ones which are so complex it took me months just to complete an engine!

An excellent build of a very emotive subject. It's great to see these wonderful cars being produced by the manufacturers.

Can you tell me if matched paints are available from anyone? I have several McLarens lying about waiting for suitable orange paint.

Also: what is the V12 and chassis at the back?

That would have to be a Weslake Eagle V12 from a Gurney Weslake Eagle Mk 1, after a Lotus 49 my absolute favourite F1 car. Does this mean we've got one of these to look forward to too. Please please please. :)

Yes, in the background is a Eagle T1G, Nürburgring 1968.
