Mark
John, is this your full-time job? I cannot believe how quickly you build these masterpieces. Especially the MFH ones which are so complex it took me months just to complete an engine!
stevehnz
These are beyond wonderful, I've run out of superlatives. Steve. Edited October 17, 2013 by stevehnz

Mac the Modelling Knife
An excellent build of a very emotive subject. It's great to see these wonderful cars being produced by the manufacturers. Can you tell me if matched paints are available from anyone? I have several McLarens lying about waiting for suitable orange paint. Also: what is the V12 and chassis at the back? Thanks for letting us see these. Mac

stevehnz
Also: what is the V12 and chassis at the back? Mac That would have to be a Weslake Eagle V12 from a Gurney Weslake Eagle Mk 1, after a Lotus 49 my absolute favourite F1 car. Does this mean we've got one of these to look forward to too. Please please please. Steve.

Mac Yes, in the background is a Eagle T1G, Nürburgring 1968. The colors are all from Zero Paints. John-w Edited June 10, 2019 by john-w

rmcclure
Another absolute masterclass in building old racing cars. And, of course, how to display them and bring them to life. Cheers, Roger
