Howdy chaps

Back in my days of boozing, women, biking and warhammering, I recall how we used all sorts of mainstream kit parts to add detail too, and sometimes scratchbuild vehicles etc.

We'd scrounge basically anything we could, especially for Imperial Guard armies and vehicles.

Past couple of weeks Ive been having some rather curious thoughts (ohhhh... open mouth insert foot). Has anybody ever done the same thing, but the other way around?

My rather curious thought is this:

I want to build one of these:

but in 1/35 scale

And Ive already made a start....

Steve, you may just have opened up a steampunk crossover wormhole! I like your thinking, using GW bitz on 1/35 armour is a 'what if' GB dream.

Hi Steve! :)

I say: Go for it!

I've dabbled in WH 40K as well, but mostly from a modelling angle and have build a couple of kits in my days!

I've also often wanted to build some 'cross-overs', but the closest I've gotten around to is building this in an early WW2 British desert camo:

So have fun with it!

Cheers :bye:

Hans.... WOW!!!

That is excellent.

PaganPete

yeah...

I want to try scratchbuild the sentinel in 35th, (roughly double its orig size), and see from there... SF3D and Ma.K kits are too expensive, so maybe try build one or two of my own.

But yeah.... steampunk wormhole... like it.
