Redboost
Hey folks, this is the new Brengun kits that is based on AZ Model Spitfire Mk.V tooling and injection molded conversion parts as floats, fin, propeller plus some smaller etched details. However, I built this kit using some leftovers, e.g. Tamiya fuselage that matched the AZ wings pretty good. Cheers Libor

gingerbob
Yep, that looks very nice. I especially like the uneven-ness of the paint on the floats. bob

General Jumbo
Very nice indeed! Interestingly, I once read that the performance of the float Spit wasn't that much lower than the land based version which I thought was surprising given the bulk of the float gear - if what I read was correct of course!!! woody37
Quite probably the ugliest Spit ever made, but a stunning reproduction of it, love the subtle tonal variations in your paint work
Redboost
Thank you all! For General Jumbo: right, the great SAM article by Vasko Barbic states it was just 30mph slower that the standard VB, but I believe it would suffer from inadequate range, considering the role it was developed for.
