Caleb Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Hello, just after a bit of advice really. I've been eyeing up a 1/6th Metal Jagdpanzer. I've seen the Armortek tanks up close and they are absolutely stunning, but I can't afford £6,000 I've found two other companies: metalbox models and field of armour. I'm more swayed towards field of armour just because they seem a bit easier to deal with and their Jagdpanzer looks nice, but I'm a bit apprehensive that only the hull is metal, everything else is resin or plastic. Has anyone had any experience with them, or is there perhaps another source? Thanks
colin Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 They seem to be showing only static models(field of armor) on their site, instructions to r/c on a cd. Have a look for second hand Armortek Colin
Caleb Posted October 12, 2013 Author Posted October 12, 2013 R/C is possible, they don't do motion packs like Armortek do, but if you dig about on the website (its hard to navigate) then you can find all the info and some videos. I hadn't thought about second hand armotek, with such a limited production run and high prices I just assumed anyone who bought one would build it! Thats partly why I'm looking at FoA, I've found a few converted Dragons for sale, but I wanted to actually do the build myself.
