6587terry
The Scimitar has been taken out of front line service and fully replaced by Scimitar 2 so I thought I would produce one with bar armour before I have a crack at the 2.

Alpha Delta 210
Great job! Is that the AFV Club kit with a lot of scratch-building?

snapper_city
Shouldn't this be in the Ready for Inspection area? Cracking build also...
Kallisti
Fantastic Terry, so glad you got the bar armour sorted out. Just had a look at your site and love what you've done - I may have to invest in a set! Will you be at Telford this year? I'm still planning on the Scimitar 2 using the Accurate Armour Spartan as the hull. One day I'll get round to it - hopefully before it gets withdrawn from service! 6587terry
Thanks all, I won't be at Telford this year still sorting things out after a workshop move. I see it was a year ago when you started your bar armour, I had a mould faliure that broke the main side armour so I put it aside for a couple of months. I will be doing the Scimitar 2 but it will be a full kit so I will have to replace all the AFV Club parts with my own. Anyone interested have a look at the Castoff models site.
