Riggers
(psst, riggers, dont know if you know, but the GSX does have a second seat.. Didnt want to say anything in public like, make you look daft... oh) Lol.....Steve, that Gixxer "IS" my old bike!! Mrs Riggers NEVER knew it had a seat under the plastic cover! Mind you, I had to take the rear sets off as to accommodate the 4-1 Yoshi system! As I did with my old Mille "R"! Now she was just lovely! Hence the question of being selfish! Honest mate, that ZXR was amazing!! Wheelied for England & you could chuck her all over the place & she'll keep upright! ATB & stay safe.......... AnonymousDFB1
STGBs are three months long and given that you get enough interest there is about one more slot left next year so your looking Oct Nov time. although slots are issues on a first come come basis. Hiya Pte The STGB are a couple months long, and if we get the required amount im assuming it wont be till later in the year, early next year. Always good to have more than one bike on the shelf, they seem so sad and lonely up there all by themsleves. So can we sign you up? Steve

D1fuN0
Morning okay, we're sitting at 9 chaps at the mo. We need 6 more for consideration. So come all you bike builders, get on the boat. Remember its not what your finished product looks like, its the taking part thats important. Theres LOADS of Dukes out there, from some of the earliest right upto the 999 and, of course the racing bikes, aaaaaaand, as an added bonus, because the Bimoto Tesi has a Ducati engine, thats been allowed in as well (and that is a great kit). Good mates, bikes and Riggers is supplying the ale, what more could you want... Steve

heloman1
Right I'm in on the previso that we can waive the 20% rule. I have two Ducati kits on the shelf of dooooooooom, which i'd like to finish. The first the one I started ealier this year as a conversion, when Mad Steve donated a 900 NCR kit and will end up as the Mike Hailwood TT bike. The other is the Stoner GP4 bike with all the AM decals and goodies, which has languished for far too long in it's box. I'm not trying to steal a march here just trying to get something completed but then hasn't everyone said that before. Clemency your honour, clemenecy. D1fuN0
Good Morning your Highness. Its for any kind of Ducati Mish, (and we are allowing the Tamiya Bimota Tesi as well as it has a Ducati Engine) Thanks Steve
D1fuN0
Morning Chaps... 10 signed up so far, 5 more to go, lets get this party started and let slip the dogs of war... let us paint the town (italian) Red, awash the streets with Titanium Gold and with our airsquirters pumping away in the back ground, we shall fight them on these pages, we shall fight them for a GB, we shall never surrender... Oooookay... too much coffee this morning. (oh and remember Riggers is buying ) Steve
Col.
Out on the bike Saturday eve and spotted an 851 sitting looking out of someones garage. Out with the family to the Macduff Aquatic Centre on Sunday and a 888 thunders by. It's fate I tell you, a sign, a foretelling of things to come! Either that or the last blast before they got tucked away for winter...

It took me a while to like the 916 over the old 888 but this is just pure bike filth. I don't want to know how much one of these cost as I know it'd be worth every expensive penny. AnonymousDFB1
Good Morning your Highness. Its for any kind of Ducati Mish, (and we are allowing the Tamiya Bimota Tesi as well as it has a Ducati Engine) Thanks Steve Steve we have a bit of a problem, your proposal is not technically a STGB. A STGB would be a single model of a Ducati. Allowing all models of Ducati is akin to calling a GB for Hawker aircraft a STGB.
D1fuN0
Hi Mish... Ok, I see what you are getting at. Chaps, how do we rescue this situation? A- do we go for a single type, if so which one. B- do we go for a full GB. C- left field idea... do we do the buddy build idea, similar to the stock car buddy build earlier this year. Not officially a GB, but we could kick off fairly quickly, have a time limit and maybe a vote at the end of that time? (what would be the legality / implications there of Mish) Answers on a postcard too... Steve
Riggers
Steve, I'm with the 'C' idea! Gets it done & dusted as there isn't the full quantity required for the GB. Same as myself & MiniRiggers..........start date when ya want, finish date To Be Announced & agreed upon. Wadda ya reckon? ATB
Col.
Given the GB and STGB calendar is quite full I'd quite happily go with C if that was acceptable with Mish. Only issue I can forsee is fitting it in with some of the current GBs we are involved with.

(what would be the legality / implications there of Mish) Answers on a postcard too... Steve Anyone can run a buddy build as their just WIP threads you would need to to it in the Automotive area, a vote, that;s a little more difficult, you could set up a gallery thread with a vote, but I think people would see it as a back door GB. Riggers
Hi Mish, Can this then be run as myself & MiniRiggers ran last month? Have a WIP page, then have the Gallery where BM's can place their votes? Albeit, the participants i.e. Mad Steve, run the page, editing etc, etc.... If people want to see it as a "back door" then all they had to do was to join in. Could that be done? Thanks again & thanks for sorting out the voting for MiniRiggers & I................. D1fuN0
HIya Agree with Riggers... What I suggest is we each open a WIP page in the vehicle section, with say a title like Ducati Buddy Build - Tamiya 916. And then we can post our progress there. Suggestions for starting, maybe October 26th to January 26th? What do you guys think Thanks Steve
